Bianca Radu

A psychologist trained in clinical hypnosis and specialised in medical hypnosis applied in dentistry, Bianca has worked since 2018 within DENT ESTET with both child and adult patients, as well as with medical teams. Her work includes managing the anxiety and stress associated with dental treatment, as well as interventions dedicated to communication, cohesion and team dynamics.

Her experience offers a different perspective on Patient Experience: the patient experience does not start with the protocol, but with how the patient perceives every interaction with the clinic. Tone of voice, the language used, the team’s ability to recognise the patient’s emotions, how a treatment is presented or how a difficult situation is handled can decisively shape the relationship of trust.

Within ADOM, Bianca turns psychology into tools that can be applied immediately in the clinic: identifying behavioural typologies, adapting communication, managing anxious or difficult patients, presenting treatment plans and developing a doctor–assistant–patient relationship based on trust.

Her expertise is integrated both into programmes dedicated to management and Patient Experience, and into the training of medical teams, where she contributes to developing communication skills that can make the difference between a correct interaction and an experience the patient wants to repeat. The current ADOM curriculum also includes applying the DISC profile in treatment-plan presentation and increasing acceptance rates.
