The Association of Dental Office Managers (ADOM), market leader in medical business, operates under the patronage of the strongest clinic chain in the country: DENT ESTET.
The journey of these five years represents the passage from the instrument of growth and development of clinics — according to the positioning and mission assumed from the beginning — to the status of an academy in dental management.
Founded six years ago for educational purposes, it offered entrepreneurs in private dentistry in Romania the first and only dental-management programme, the Dental Office Managers (DOM) School, with the role of personalising management systems and decisions.
"The growth and optimisation tools created and developed in a personalised way over five years, as well as the research projects run by ADOM with the support of partners and other members of the field, have made possible the dissemination and transformation of the DOM School programme into a varied and complex portfolio. The DOM School remains the main product of the Association of Dental Office Managers, but over five years of activity they have also created and developed deepening programmes on several important directions that the DOM School offers, and which also represent the major challenges of the dental field.
"We try to exploit the potential for growth and improvement of private medical services, and that implies a process of educating and informing patients. That is why several courses within the Dental Office Manager School — such as HR, Marketing, and Front Desk — have in turn become deepening programmes, dedicated to the current market situation and personalised to the development level of the medical businesses we work with.

The goal is to offer patients the medical experiences they want, as well as to create working mechanisms for doctors and owners to facilitate the evolution of the businesses they have. This adaptation of medical services in Romania is the result of the actions of those who innovate, who bring international success instruments and implement them here.
The Association of Dental Office Managers (ADOM) is an American concept integrated in Romania, adapted after the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM). DENT ESTET's management and presence at dozens of courses outside Romania shaped this project meant to offer entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey an integration into the medical-business field, and those already on this market techniques of administration, evolution, and optimisation.
Participation in AADOM Annual Conferences completes the informational and educational resources that underpin ADOM Romania programmes. In July the ADOM team was present at the 15th edition of the conference organised in Florida, where it reunited with AADOM members and continues to prepare the next projects, keeping its assumed mission.
"2018 was the year that completed the ADOM programme portfolio with many premieres, trying to respond to the needs we identified in building and administering a medical business, from practice level to the title of leader on the dentistry market. The methodology of the programmes is implemented and validated within DENT ESTET clinics, and the entire process of transformation into course material is coordinated by specialists in the field," declares Dr. Oana Taban, CEO DENT ESTET & ADOM Founder.
The Association of Dental Office Managers also holds under its brand other projects, such as the national campaign Stay a Doctor in Romania (RMR), in which both ADOM community members and doctors from abroad have been involved. With the aim of encouraging doctors to leave at least informed when they choose to change Romania's territory for another country, and also to contribute to increasing medical-staff retention, ADOM invested in the information campaign three scholarships to support the reintegration into the labour market of doctors who have left.
